How to Join
All members must attend an Annual Orientation. You can meet this requirement by applying Online or by attending a session at the Range.
Online Steps: 1: Click the "Apply Online Now" or if you are an "Instuctor for Profit Application" button below. 2: Complete the Membership Application that will appear and click "Submit" 3: You will be directed to PayPal (you do NOT need a PayPal account) where you can use a Credit or Debit card to pay your fees. Be sure & click the "Return to Merchant" button after paying. 4: After payment you will be directed to an Orientation video. 5: After successfully viewing the video you need to email the Treasurer at: firstname.lastname@example.org providing the items that you were instructed to "Write Down...." in the video. 6: Your Membership Card & Gate Keycard will be mailed to you with instructions in a couple of days. The Online process takes about 45 minutes to complete.
Orientations are held at the Range on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month at 10am AND on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month at 6pm. This changes March 2018 when Range Orientations will be on the 1st Saturday & the 4th Thursday except Nov. & Dec.
The Gate WILL be Open at 9:25 AM until 10:10 AM on Saturday Orientation days for Pickup
& 5:25 PM until 6:10 PM on Thursday Orientation days for Pickup
You may Pre-Register if you plan to attend an Orientation at the Range, which will speed the process when you arrive at the Range.
All memberships are annual. Members joining from the 1st through the 15th of a month will have their membership expire on the last day of the preceding month the following year.
EXAMPLE: Join 1 July 2017 and the expiration date will be 30 June 2018.
Members joining from the 16th through the last day of a month will have their membership expire on the last day of that month the following year.
EXAMPLE: Join 27 July 2017 and the expiration date will be 31 July 2018.
Membership entitles immediate family, including spouse and any children under 22 years of age living in the household, to share the use of the facility. Only one vote in SAGC decisions per membership.
Any person qualified to legally possess a firearm in the state of Texas may apply for membership.
